オランダの Thrash Metal / Death Metal の 2ndアルバム。

Celtic Frost の実験的な面から強く影響を受けているスラッシュメタル／デスメタル。フランスの Misanthrope がまだアヴァンギャルド・デスメタルだった頃の変さを想起させる。

Misanthrope 程の濃さや奇怪さ、変態性や芸術性は無いが、もっと弾きたいもっと出しゃばりたい、もっと好き勝手にやりたいと、しつこいくらいのギターワークは本作の方が勝っている。

ストレートにスマートにやる気は全く無く、複雑でヘンテコ。ぎくしゃくした曲展開はとっちらかっている。プログレッシヴ／エクスペリメンタルな 何だか凄くて何だか良い と思ってしまう説得力はない。

個性的な5人のメンバーが、少しズレながらもどうにかひとつにまとまって仲良く仕上げた感のある作品。ガチャゴチョシケシケしながら叙情性も醸し出し、ベースも弾きまくり、なかなか扇情的に劇的に展開する。

デスメタル・ヴォーカル一歩手前の叫び散らすヴォーカルは、ペイガニズムやヒーザニズムやヴァイキングを歌いながら、そのテーマにはそぐわない感じのヘロヘロした爬虫類系変態ヴォーカルも聴かす。

ところどころでゴシックメタル風味を漂わせると Celtic Frostからの初期 Paradise Lost〜 の系統の自然な流れを感じさせる。しかし、そこに重点は置かれていない。

デスなブルータリティーは薄く、あくまでも80sスラッシュを引き摺った攻撃的なアヴァンギャルド・スラッシュ。やはり、オランダ的なバンドかも知れない。個人的にはストレートなデスメタル・アルバムよりもハマッた。


【インナー】状態良好。
【ディスク】若干細かな薄いスレ・キズ有り。目立ったキズは有りません。再生には問題無し。
【プラケース】きれい。

付着物・汚れは無し。
